It is on the flyer because it is the whole idea behind the business.

We started with two vehicles and a single conviction: that most car rental complaints in Tanzania are not about price. They are about a car that arrived late, a car that arrived dirty, or a car that did not arrive at all.
So we built the company around the opposite. Vehicles chosen because they are the most repairable and most capable on Tanzanian roads. A service book that is never stretched. A phone that is answered at three in the morning.
Today the fleet runs to 40 vehicles across eleven models — Land Cruisers from the 70-series hard top to the 300, Hilux and Ranger double cabs, and Alphard, Vellfire, Noah and Hiace for groups. The rule has not moved: if a car is not good enough for us to put our own family in, it does not leave the yard.

Dispatch & support
Straight from the flyer, and enforced daily.
Every vehicle in the fleet is serviced on schedule at a certified Toyota workshop and inspected before it leaves our yard.
One clear quote with no hidden charges. Longer bookings and corporate accounts are rated better automatically — just tell us the dates.
Licensed, English-speaking drivers who know the Lake Zone, the northern safari circuit and every road in between.
A real person answers the phone at any hour — for a flight change, a route question or roadside assistance.
The part of the business nobody sees, and the reason the cars keep working.
At a certified Toyota workshop, on genuine parts, with the book stamped. No exceptions and no stretching the interval.
Every vehicle is fully insured and third-party covered under Tanzanian law, with an optional excess waiver at booking.
Tyres, brakes, fluids, lights, belts, spare, jack and toolkit — checked and signed off before the car leaves the yard.
Every vehicle is tracked. It means faster help if something goes wrong, and it means we always know where our cars are.
A Land Cruiser is only as good as whoever is driving it. Ours are vetted, trained and paid properly — which is why they stay.
Full Tanzanian licence, clean record, verified references before a first shift.
Every driver works comfortably in both. Several also speak French or German.
Refreshed annually, including night driving and wet-season gravel technique.
Not from a map — from having driven them, in both seasons, many times.

We run field visits across Geita, Simiyu and Shinyanga every month. Three years in, a Victoria Rentals car has never once failed to arrive. The drivers know the district roads better than our own maps.
Picked up at Mwanza airport, in the Serengeti by lunchtime. The roof hatch made the difference — my wife took photographs standing up for four days straight. Cold water in the cooler box the whole way.
Our company holds a monthly account with them. One invoice, signed trip sheets, no arguments at the end of the month. That is worth more to me than a cheaper daily rate elsewhere.
Three matching black Land Cruisers for our wedding, all polished, all on time, drivers in proper suits. They arrived an hour before we asked them to. Nothing to complain about.
Eleven days across the western corridor with heavy camera equipment. The dual battery kept everything charged and the vehicle handled the wet season tracks without a single problem.
Site runs on gravel, six days a week, and they still turn up clean every morning. When one car had a puncture on the Sengerema road a replacement was with us inside two hours.
